Louise Clements of Paysafe.com wins “Brand Leader of the Year” at the CMO Brand Digital Summit USA

April 14 2021, New York, USA: GDS Group, the global events, research and technology services company, has awarded Louise Clements, Chief Marketing Officer of Paysafe.com as “Brand Leader of the Year”. In addition to the main award, Louise was also recognised for the additional Integrity category award. The awards were presented during a live virtual ceremony at CMO Brand Digital Summit USA on April 7 2021.

Paysafe.com is a global leader in online payments employing over 3,000 people in more than 12 global locations, with an annualized transactional volume of over $98bn US in 2019. Its payments platforms are used in over 120 markets around the world.

Louise was selected as the winner by a judging panel which consisted of former GDS award winners, including ‘Digital Marketing Leader of the Year North America 2020’ Mikio Fujitsuka of Johnson & Johnson, ‘Digital Leader of the Year North America 2020’ Rose Jia of Amazon Grocery, and ‘Healthcare Leader of the Year North America 2020’ Jamie Walker of UnitedHealth Group.

In awarding Louise the title of Brand Leader of the Year, the judges commented, “Louise showed great innovation and transformation for her company, especially having joined the firm in 2019 and then facing COVID in 2020. In particular, I applaud her decision to increase the scope of her data and analytics team to support beyond reporting to build customer insights that could enhance marketing even further. This is a tough challenge that many marketing leaders face but often don’t address head on.

“Louise has demonstrated not only her strength as a brand leader but also an overall business executive. The way she was able to transform and focus her team on driving revenue growth through fast experimentation is commendable.”

In addition to Brand Leader of the Year, three further awards were announced to recognise achievements in specific areas, with Louise Clements being recognised in the Integrity category which recognises leaders for ‘doing the right thing’ in the workplace, marketplace, environment or community. The two further award category winners were:

  • Annica Conrad, Chief Marketing Officer of Global Franchise Group was awarded for Innovation / Transformation
  • Lisa Bowen, Vice President, Strategic Accounts and Partnerships of PharMerica Corporation was awarded for Improving Business Performance
